What Is the Florida VPK Program?
Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) is a state-funded, free pre-K program that helps children build the skills they need for school success. At Brilliant Little Minds, VPK means more than just the basics—we provide a full-day experience that combines academics, creativity, and structured play in a safe, supportive environment.
Our full-time VPK program focuses on:
Early reading and language development
Basic math and problem-solving
Social and emotional growth
Classroom routines and school readiness
Who Can Enroll in Full-Time VPK?
To qualify for Florida’s VPK program:
Your child must be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the current school year.
You must live in Florida.
If your child’s birthday is between February 2 and September 1, you can enroll them that year or wait until the next school year—whichever works best for your family.
There are no income restrictions to apply. VPK is free for all 4-year-olds in Florida.
